Private Hypnobirthing Course
A quick summary of what hypnobirthing is...
getting informed about birth (stages of labour, hormones, labour positions, birth partner roles and tips)
changing mindset (knowing what the body is doing, reducing fear)
learning decision-making tools (your rights and choices, risk, advocacy tips)
learning hypnobirthing tools (visualisation, relaxation, breathing techniques, anchoring + the science of why it works)
You would receive:
8 - 10 hours of face to face learning including handouts and activities (4 x 2-2.5 hour sessions or less depending on your needs)
emails with exercises/resources to consider
58 page The Birth Uprising UK Workbook
access to MP3 relaxation tracks to listen to at home
access to The Birth Uprising UK digital pack and postnatal course
The organisation I trained with is based in the UK so the workbook and digital content refer to some UK specific things (i.e. healthcare/hospital system).
Private fees
Fees start from $450 per couple for a minimum of 4-5 hours of in-person sessions. If you book with another couple I can offer you a discount (a couple can include the birthing person and one other i.e. birth partner, family member, friend etc!).
Practical bits
We could split the sessions however you like i.e. 2 x 5 hour sessions over 2 days (split over morning/afternoon), 4 x 2.5 hour sessions over 4 days etc. I would suggest that we complete the sessions within a 4 week period.
We can do the sessions at your home - a lounge or dining area with enough space for us to sit is all we need, or we can discuss an alternative location.
Please also read the terms and conditions and privacy policy on my website.
Next steps
Please fill in the enquiry form so that we can arrange a phone call - it is important that we feel comfortable with each other and discuss any questions you may have before booking!
The Great Birth Rebellion recently released a podcast episode about hypnobirthing if you or others were interested in understanding more - you can listen or access resources/studies from the podcast too
